Data Analyst (Product and Marketing)
At Zutobi, we're not just an EdTech company - we're on a mission to make roads safer for everyone. We've already built the #1 driver's education app in the US, but it's just the beginning.
Now, we’re looking for a brilliant Data Analyst to be the engine of our growth, turning fascinating data into our next big success story.
This is a generalist role where you’ll start by diving deep into marketing analytics and then expand into user behavior and product analytics.
You’ll be the crucial bridge between our Marketing and Product teams, uncovering insights and identifying opportunities that help us grow faster and smarter.
Are you passionate about connecting the dots between how we attract users and how they fall in love with our product? Do you get a thrill from seeing your analysis directly shape strategy and drive real-world results?
If so, we want to talk to you!
What you'll do:
- Tell the full story: You won’t just report numbers - you’ll connect marketing performance (CAC, ROAS) to in-app user behavior (engagement, churn, LTV) to paint a complete picture of our growth engine.
- Be the growth detective: Dive deep into our user funnel using tools like Amplitude and GA4.
You’ll uncover friction points, identify "aha!" moments, and generate powerful, data-driven hypotheses that will shape our product roadmap. - Optimize our engine: Partner directly with the marketing team to master our attribution models and spot key growth opportunities
- Drive a culture of experimentation: Own the analytics of A/B tests from start to finish.
You’ll design experiments, define success metrics, and deliver clear, statistically sound analysis that tells us what works and why. - Elevate our data foundation: You won't just use our dashboards - you'll build them. You’ll have the autonomy to improve and scale our analytics infrastructure using SQL, BigQuery, and modern BI tools, ensuring our data is always accurate, accessible, and actionable.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience: 3+ years in a data analytics role within a B2C subscription app (mobile and web), with a strong focus on both marketing and product metrics.
- Deep understanding of growth: You're fluent in the language of subscription models: CAC, LTV, ROAS, attribution, churn, and retention are your native tongue.
- Proven experience using analytics tools:
Expert-level with Amplitude, GA4, GTM, SQL, and BigQuery.
Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) and marketing platforms (Meta Ads, AppsFlyer). - Scientific mindset: You have a solid grasp of A/B testing principles and statistical analysis and know how to apply them to solve real business problems.
- The storyteller gene: You possess the rare ability to transform complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives and actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
- An ownership mentality: You are proactive, curious, and self-directed. You thrive in an environment where you are given the autonomy to explore, build, and make a tangible impact.
- Excellent communication skills: Upper-Intermediate level of English and ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in the EdTech space.
- Deep expertise in building marketing attribution models from the ground up.
- A strong understanding of unit economics.
- Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analysis.
