Service Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team and support the maintenance and repair of advanced UAV systems. This role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic, mechanical, and software issues, performing modular repairs, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UAVs, strong technical knowledge in electronics, and the ability to work with international teams and documentation in English.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Diagnose and repair UAV systems using a modular approach
• Analyze the root causes of technical failures
• Restore functionality of electronic components and modules
• Upgrade and modernize UAV hardware
• Maintain detailed service and inspection documentation in English
• Communicate with international technical support to resolve complex issues in English
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely restocking
• Use diagnostic tools and software to assess UAV condition
• Perform mechanical repairs of UAV components and assemblies
• Ensure quality control of all repair work
• Prepare requests and specifications for spare parts, materials, and tools; monitor their usage
• Analyze log files and technical data

Ideal Candidate
 

• Has relevant experience in electronics repair and working with UAVs
• Can read electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Has soldering skills (harnesses, connectors, etc.)
• Experienced in troubleshooting onboard radio-electronic systems
• Holds a technical degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient in using measuring devices
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Team player with good communication skills
• Quick learner, adaptable to changes
• Confident in communicating with end-users — you will be the face of the service team
• Category B driving license

Requirements
 

• Technical education
• Experience working with UAVs
• Knowledge of PX4 or ArduPilot, MAVLink, QGroundControl or Mission Planner 
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Hands-on experience with soldering, mechanical repairs, and measurement tools
• English proficiency — minimum level B2 (spoken and written)
• Responsibility and strong organizational skills
