Junior Creative Designer

We are elai.io, an innovative AI-driven startup specializing in video generation. Recently acquired by Panopto — a leader in interactive video solutions — we’re now part of a growing team of around 200 professionals focused on advancing learning through powerful, interactive video technology.

We’re looking for a Creative Designer (Video & Visual) to join our growing team at Elai. In this role, you’ll help shape the visual language of our AI video platform by creating engaging, on-brand assets that enable users to communicate their ideas clearly and creatively. From designing reusable video elements to supporting client projects and contributing to broader design initiatives, you’ll play an important role in delivering a seamless and inspiring experience for thousands of users worldwide.

This is a hands-on role for a creative thinker with a sharp eye for detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in seeing their designs make an impact.

What you’ll do

• Design high-quality visual assets for our AI video platform and client projects
• Develop and maintain a growing library of reusable video templates and design resources that support customer onboarding and adoption, as well as empowering users to create engaging content quickly
• Collaborate with product, sales, and customer experience teams to deliver cohesive and inspiring designs
• Support client-specific design requests by creating custom visuals that meet brand guidelines and storytelling needs
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, balancing quality, deadlines, and stakeholder feedback
• Contribute to a variety of design initiatives, from custom visuals for clients to expanding and improving our creative library
  
   

What we’re looking for

• 1-2 years of professional or freelance design experience with a portfolio showcasing polished, high-quality work
• Proficiency in tools like Figma with a strong interest in developing your motion design skills (After Effects or similar); proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop would be a plus
• A sharp eye for composition, typography, and branding across different styles and industries
• Attention to detail and a passion for crafting beautiful, user-focused designs
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to iterate quickly based on feedback
• Creativity, curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple projects without losing focus
