Cloud Network Engineer

Requirements:
 

• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPN, Dynamic Routing, NAT etc.).
• Expertise in AWS and AWS networking tools (EC2, VPC, Transit Gateway etc.)
• Expertise in administering hardware/software of Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, Cisco
• Deep expertise in VPN protocols (WireGuard, IPSec, GRE, L2TP, SSLVPN etc.)
• Expertise in administrering Linux-based OS (Ubuntu, CentOS etc.)
• Expertise in administering wireless networks
• Familiarity with AWS best practices in security, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Automation skills: Terraform/Ansible for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Python/Bash for scripting.
• Understanding of network monitoring tools and best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues in a cloud environment.
   

Will be plus:

• Experience working in a NOC or network operations environment.
• Experience in design of corporate networks
• Networks Vendors professional certificates
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud networking (on-prem to AWS connectivity)
• Familiar with Zero Trust Network Access principles, working with NGFW (Fortigate, Cisco)

Responsibilities:

• Manage Multi-cloud, multi-account and hybrid network infrastructures, ensuring connectivity, availability and performance.
• Develop and implement network strategies to optimize cloud networking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, proactively preventing outages.
• Automate network operations and configurations
• Configure and maintain corporate ZTNA/VPN solutions
• Collaborate with security and operations teams to enforce best practices in networking and cloud security.
• Maintain documentation.
