Java Developer (German-speaking only)

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our collaboration with a German client in the GIS solutions domain. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an international project, work with modern technologies, and directly contribute to the development of critical web applications.
 

Your responsibilities:

• Further development and maintenance of existing web applications in the GIS environment
• Optimization and scaling of existing solutions
• Working with databases, application servers, and frameworks
• Close collaboration with the international team and participation in technical discussions
   

Required skills and experience:

• Fluent spoken German (English is not required)
• Proven experience in Java web app development
• Strong knowledge of the Spring framework
• Hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL
• Version control with git/gitlab
   

Nice-to-have experience:

• Familiarity with Hibernate
• Working with GIS applications (GeoTools)
• Database replication using SymmetricDS
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JS, HTML, CSS)
• Experience with build systems Gradle and Maven
