QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join product development team. Your mission will be to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software solutions by designing and implementing effective automated testing strategies. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to detect issues early, streamline release cycles, and deliver high-quality products to end users.
 

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts aligned with product requirements.
  • Develop and execute automated tests to identify defects and verify system functionality.
  • Collaborate with engineers to align testing with system architecture and business goals.
  • Participate in design and code reviews, proactively spotting quality risks.
  • Implement and improve test automation frameworks and tools to maximize coverage.
  • Conduct regression testing to safeguard existing features.
  • Report on test progress, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to documentation of QA processes, standards, and practices.
  • Perform non-functional testing (performance, load, security).
  • Stay current with industry best practices and promote a culture of quality within the team.
     

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in test automation roles within product development teams.
  • Strong skills in test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Postman).
  • Hands-on experience with load/stress testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, or K6).
  • Familiarity with non-functional testing (performance, security).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
  • Knowledge of Java, C#, or Python for automation scripting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
