Accountant (Diia City)

Competera uses Big Data and Deep Learning to change the way retailers do pricing. We are known for both cutting-edge math ‘under the hood’ and for deep expertise in the pricing domain. We are now looking for an Accountant to manage all questions related to the project Diia City.

What you will do:

• Full accounting and tax support of Ukrainian LLC (Diia City resident):
  •  calculation and forecasting of taxes,
  • preparation and submission of reports and declarations,
  • payment of taxes and salaries,
  • communication with tax authorities, statistics office, Pension Fund, and banks,
  • preparation of documents and support during the annual external audit.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and internal reporting.
• Participate in system implementation support (e.g., billing platform).
• Assist with maintaining compliance with internal controls.
• Contribute to special projects and assist in improving accounting processes.

Starter-kit needed to join the board:

• Experience in accounting and passing the audit of Diia City residents.
• At least 2+ years of accounting experience (LLCs).
• Strong knowledge of Ukrainian tax legislation, accounting standards, and labor law.
• Confident user of: Electronic Taxpayer Account, BAS accounting software, Google Workspace, MS Office, Art Zvit, Client Bank.
• Clear written and verbal communication in Ukrainian (required) and English (preferred).

Bonus Points:

• Experience working in an international SaaS company.
• Experience with US GAAP.
• Prior work with international teams or in a multinational environment.
• Experience in preparing balance sheets, tax returns.
