Reports To: Head of Product Management Competence Center (matrix) and Chief Product Manager (CEO & Co‑founder)
Purpose:
Maximize product value by running rigorous discovery, defining decision-ready initiatives, and delivering standardized, metrics-backed documentation to enable daily releases at scale. Key Responsibilities
- [R1] Define the product metrics framework (DAU, WAU, MAU, activation A1/A2, D1/D7/D30 retention, NPS/CSAT) for the assigned value stream at 500k+ active client scale using PostHog metrics and ClickHouse aggregates.
- [R2] Author and maintain a tracking plan (event names, properties, owners) covering ≥95% of critical user and transaction flows with quarterly reviews in PostHog/Firebase schemas.
- [R3] Build and own self-serve dashboards for MAU/DAU, funnel conversion, feature adoption, and operational health with weekly reporting in Redash and PostHog Insights.
- [R4] Conduct end-to-end discovery (business input, compliance, customer needs, market analysis, feasibility) and prepare decision-ready one-pagers (problem, 2–3 options, recommendation, metrics, ETA) along with the necessary ready-to-development documents.
- [R5] Maintain a clean Initiative/Epic backlog, ensuring clarity, compliance alignment, and traceability. Collaborate with System Analysts for decomposition into Stories/Tasks without losing business intent.
- [R6] Apply metrics-driven prioritization (RICE, WSJF, MaSCaRa) with GenAI support; transparently communicate trade-offs and rationale.
- [R7] Collaborate closely with the Chief Product Manager (CEO), executives, partners, Compliance, Operations, and Tech, always bringing pre-framed options instead of open-ended discussions. Escalate via the Product Council when needed.
- [R8] Integrate compliance requirements (PSD2, PCI DSS, GDPR, AML/KYC, etc) by encoding regulatory acceptance criteria into Epics/Stories
- [R9] Validate that delivered features match business intent, user value, and compliance obligations.
- [R10] Use GenAI assistants for backlog cleanup, meeting note-taking, clustering customer feedback, and forecasting delivery timelines.
