Senior Python Engineer (Ingestion / ETL)

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join an international team developing a large-scale data platform in the sustainability domain. 🔹 Responsibilities

• Stabilize and modernize data ingestion engine (ETL pipelines).
• Refactor legacy Python code and improve system reliability.
• Build scalable pipelines resilient to changing data formats.
• Work with BigQuery, GCP, Pub/Sub and integrate external data sources.
• Automate validation processes and reduce manual support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional international teams in an Agile environment.

🔹 Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Python.
• Strong background in ETL / data pipelines (Airflow, Celery, PySpark or similar).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure also acceptable).
• Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Understanding of data validation, automation, and monitoring practices.
• Experience working in international teams, English — intermediate+.

🔹 Nice to have

• Experience with BigQuery, Pub/Sub.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Previous experience with high-load or data-intensive projects.
