Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Our business is growing quickly, so we are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) β a leader who will take ownership of operational management across the company, ensure efficiency of core functions, and help implement the vision of the CEO and the entire C-level team.
Core Areas of Responsibility
- Payments Team β managing both technical/product and business development processes in the area of payment systems, gateways, and processing.
- Customer Operations (Support / RFPD) β strategic and operational leadership of one of the companyβs largest teams, defining the vision, building KPIs and SLAs.
- PMO / Delivery β launching and scaling Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices across all company streams, optimizing delivery.
- BI & Analytics β setting priorities for the BI team, ensuring dashboards and models provide actionable insights for the business.
Key Expertise
Management & Operations
- Operational management in large business structures
- Building and optimizing PMO/Delivery processes (Agile / Scrum / Kanban)
- Leading cross-functional teams, management OKR and KPI Team
- Workforce & capacity planning
Finance & Business Control
- Monitoring financial performance (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet)
- Budgeting and financial planning
- Managing operational risks
Payments & Customer Operations
- Working with payment systems, gateways, and processing (both technical/product and operational)
- Integrating technical, product, and operational payment processes
- Managing and overseeing Customer Support / RFPD teams
- Designing KPIs and SLAs for operational functions
BI & Analytics
- Experience with BI systems (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, Metabase)
- Understanding ETL processes
- Setting tasks for BI & Analytics teams to develop dashboards and models
HR & Org Design
- Partnering with HRD on organizational structure design
- Implementing KPIs, performance review systems, workload and capacity assessments
Tools & Systems
- Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello (task management)
- CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar)
- Google Cloud / AWS / Kafka / PubSub β basic architectural understanding
Candidate Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as COO or minimum 2 years at Head of / Director level.
- Experience in a product IT company (fintech, payments, digital platforms, large holdings, etc.).
- Strong expertise in the 4 direct streams (Payments, Support, PMO/Delivery, BI & Analytics) plus a broad understanding of all business streams to manage and build operational processes across them.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and operational risk management.
- Upper-Intermediate English (written and spoken).
