Chief Business Development Officer

Onlyplay is a modern developer of innovative solutions in the iGaming industry. We enhance the player experience, push the boundaries of the industry, and apply bold, non-traditional approaches to business growth. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a strategically-minded Chief Business Development Officer to help us enter new markets, strengthen our commercial presence, and scale the business to the next level.

 

What you’ll be responsible for:
 

  • Defining and executing the company’s growth and scaling strategy.
  • Exploring new markets, partnerships, customer segments, and sales channels.
  • Researching legal requirements for market entry (licenses, certifications, local compliance, etc.).
  • Analyzing the market, competitive landscape, trends, and potential risks.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key partners and clients.
  • Leading high-level negotiations and closing strategic deals at the C-level.
  • Designing and implementing commercially beneficial cooperation models.
  • Representing the company at conferences, industry events, and public engagements.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, industry events, and public engagements
  • Ensuring the company’s reputation aligns with our PR and brand strategy.
  • Organizing customer loyalty initiatives (gifts, bonuses, tailored engagement formats).
  • Collaborating with the CEO, CPO, CTO, and CMO to align departmental goals and processes.
  • Working with product and tech teams to ensure a “sales-ready” product: adapted to market needs, scalable, monetizable.
  • Building and developing the business development unit: sales, account management, and later - partnership team.
  • Setting and tracking KPIs to drive performance and sustainable growth.
  • Designing bonus programs and motivation systems for your department.
  • Analyzing the department's performance through reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights.

     

Our ideal candidate:
 

  • Has 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the iGaming industry.
  • Possesses deep knowledge of the market, players, trends, and regulatory landscape.
  • Confidently conducts negotiations with top-level stakeholders.
  • Knows how to turn a business vision into operational goals.
  • Has experience building or scaling sales, partnerships, or account management teams.
  • Is fluent in both English and Ukrainian (spoken and written).
  • Works independently, strategically, and with a strong focus on results.
