Backend Developer – e Commerce - Medusa.js (v2) - Next.js

We’re looking for a Backend Developer with strong expertise in Medusa.js v2 and Next.js. You’ll help us build and extend modern eCommerce platforms—developing custom plugins, integrating third-party systems, and enhancing the admin dashboard for advanced business needs.

What you’ll do

• Develop and extend Medusa.js v2 backends for eCommerce projects.
• Create custom plugins and modifications to fit unique business logic.
• Integrate external systems (ERP, PIM, CRM, payment providers, logistics, etc.).
• Extend and customize the admin dashboard for better workflows and management.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and project managers to deliver scalable, high-end digital commerce solutions.
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance across projects.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience with Medusa.js v2 in production projects.
• Strong skills in Next.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building plugins, APIs, and custom modifications in Medusa.
• Familiarity with headless commerce architectures and integrations.
• Experience customizing or extending Medusa’s admin dashboard.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.

   

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of databases (Postgres, Redis) and cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel).
• Experience with CI/CD and scalable deployments.

• Understanding of UI/UX principles when extending admin dashboards.
