Key Account Manager

Starlab is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to build, manage, and grow relationships with our most important clients in high-risk industries. You’ll act as the primary point of contact, ensuring smooth onboarding, ongoing support, and strategic account growth while balancing compliance and risk considerations.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the trusted advisor and main liaison for high-value and high-risk clients.
  • Manage the full client lifecycle: onboarding, integration, ongoing relationship management, and growth.
  • Work closely with internal teams (compliance, operations, product, and tech) to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Anticipate client needs, resolve issues proactively, and communicate risks clearly.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize client value.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities in the crypto and payments space.

     

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Client Success Manager, or similar role within fintech, crypto, or payment processing.
  • Experience in working with high-risk clients will be considered as advantage.
  • Solid understanding of crypto payments, compliance requirements (AML/KYC), and risk management practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in Russian and English (additional languages are a plus).
