Sales Development Representative

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team at Acropolium. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of multi-channel outbound outreach, including email campaigns and LinkedIn, to identify and engage B2B prospects. Your efforts will be instrumental in generating interest and booking qualified calls for our sales team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the entire outbound outreach function: strategize, launch, monitor, and optimize email campaigns and multi-channel sequences (email, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Identify, research, and engage potential B2B clients to build a high-quality lead pipeline.
  • Develop, test, and optimize personalized cold-email sequences tailored to industry, persona, and campaign objectives.
  • Manage campaign infrastructure: list creation, segmentation, deliverability, sending schedules, bounce handling, and tracking reply rates.
  • Monitor campaign KPIs (reply rate, open rate, CTR, conversion-to-call) and optimize based on performance data.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align on messaging, ICPs, and target accounts.
  • Ensure seamless handoff of warmed and qualified leads to the sales team.

     

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Sales Development or Business Development, preferably within IT or software services.
  • Proven ability to manage the full outbound process independently—from sourcing leads to initiating discovery calls.

     

Tools & Technologies

  • AI-powered outreach tools: Apollo.io, Clay, LinkedHelper or similar.
  • Email infrastructure tools: Mailgun, SendGrid, Postmark, Amazon SES, etc.; plus campaign management tools like Lemlist, Mailshake, Reply.io, Woodpecker.
  • CRM proficiency: Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar.
  • Supplementary: LinkedIn Sales Navigator/Sequence, Hunter.io, Snov.io, ZoomInfo, RocketReach.
  • Analytics: Google Sheets, Excel.

     

Outbound Campaign Skills

  • Strong ability to craft and personalize effective cold outreach sequences.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-step email and LinkedIn cadences.
  • Solid knowledge of email deliverability best practices (domain warming, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, bounce handling, spam filter avoidance).

     

Nice to Have

  • Experience with account-based selling (ABS/ABM) tactics and tools.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Zapier or Make.
  • Previous SDR experience in SaaS, IT services, or technology-focused companies.
