DevOps Azure with DBA experience

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Implement and manage secure CI/CD pipelines, database infrastructure, and DevOps processes across application teams with a strong emphasis on Azure cloud services, database technologies, and secure software development practices.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

• Advocates for application teams in DevOps, Cybersecurity, and Agile engineering procedures
• Design and implement strategies for collaboration, code, infrastructure, source control, security, compliance, continuous integration, testing, delivery, monitoring, and feedback
• Manage Github Actions Pipelines with custom flows and actions and Azure DevOps projects
• Configure and setup Azure SQL, MongoDB Atlas and PostgreSQL following MS best practices
• Collaborate with application/asset teams to ensure successful implementation of secure coding practices
• Monitor systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions proactively
• Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation
• Provide training and support to internal teams, peers and stakeholders
• Plan DR measures and maintain data storage security in Azure
• Acts as the DevOps DBA Champion for application/cyber/Portfolio teams
  
   

IF YOU ARE

• Minimum of 6 years of combined experience in DevOps/DevSecOps engineering, Software and DBA engineering
• Experience with Secure CI/CD pipelines (mainly GitHub Actions & Flows) and ALM tools
• Experience with .Net/C#, PowerShell, Bash for scripting
• Understanding and experience with Azure SQL and Mongo
• Experience with AKS and Linux
• Expertise in Azure cloud services (Azure SQL, Azure ServiceBus, Azure Redis, KeyVaults, Azure Storage, etc)
• Strong Understanding of network architectures and services within Azure
• Knowledge of Source Code Management concepts and proficiency in Git
• Knowledge of CI/CD Pipeline creation in Azure DevOps
• Ability to translate traditional SDLC approach to Agile development phases
• Azure certifications (e.g. Azure DevOps engineer expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Administering Relational Databases) is a plus
