Agile Coach
Who we're looking for
We seek an experienced Agile Coach to enhance product development processes and elevate team maturity through agile practices and frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a track record of developing team competencies and increasing awareness of customer needs, productivity, and flow efficiency. They should independently identify areas for improvement and confidently implement changes across assigned teams. We expect their approach to be grounded in a solid understanding of agile practices, emphasizing customer-centricity, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Objectives of this role
- Serve as a reliable partner to Product Managers, Engineering Manager, and Teams in their efforts to enable data-driven process improvement in accordance with Agile values and principles.
- Support the process of change implementation (informing, training, evaluating how the change is going, and providing feedback)
- Conduct an audit of existing processes and events, and assess the quality of key artifacts.
- Evaluate team competencies to identify areas for growth and development.
- Develop the culture of facilitation to ensure efficient team events and an atmosphere of open dialogue, high engagement, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Support employees’ learning and development in a scaled Product environment, teaching, coaching, mentoring, and facilitation.
- Design and deliver practical workshops to Product teams and key stakeholders.
- Coach and mentor managers and Product teams to ensure the adoption of agile practices fit for the context.
- Communicate agile principles and practices, and overall operating model across the organization
- Champion the use of metrics and the culture of Evidence-Based improvement across Product teams.
- Maintain objectivity when addressing issues and troubleshooting by applying agile principles.
- Supporting Product teams and the wider company in identifying and resolving problems by applying Systems Thinking.
- Assisting management with the design of existing teams and in the formation of new ones
- Drive organisational change management to drive sustainable improvement within the R&D
Required skills and qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or Delivery Manager.
- 5+ years of experience in companies developing software (Product development preferred)
- Experience in using Scrum, Kanban, or other agile frameworks.
- Experience in Scaled agile environments (LeSS, Nexus, Scrum Scale)
- Track record of implementing and improving agile practices in different work cultures and environments.
- Ability to work with process metrics: collecting, analyzing metrics, and implementing data-driven improvements.
- Strong skills in educational design and delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Relevant certifications (PSM2, KMP, ICP-ACC, CLP)
- Experience in creating and customizing custom dashboards using eazyBI or its alternatives.
- Work experience in SaaS start-ups during the period of active growth and scaling.
- Computer Science degree or engineering background.
