Senior Python Developer

On behalf of our new Client, Scalors is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join a client team for a full-remote job on a full-time basis.

The client’s company is the partner for subscription commerce solutions, digital transformation, and the outsourcing of marketing, sales, IT processes, and payment transactions. The company is an owner-managed investment company. The client’s core business is investing in companies as an entrepreneur.
As an innovative hub, the client bundles the expertise of several relevant disciplines and within various industries along the value chain.
The company is the absolute pioneer in subscription commerce and has been managing B2C customers in subscription models in its own holdings for decades.

Tasks and responsibilities:

— Design, develop and implement user-friendly software applications and systems.
— Collaborate with other team members to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
— Ensure code quality through careful review and testing.
— Actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
— Ongoing development of existing systems and integration of new technologies.

Requirements:

— Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification.
— Sound knowledge of the following programming language: Python (Java would be a great plus).
— Experience with modern development tools and frameworks.
— Good problem-solving skills and a high degree of initiative.
— Ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills.
— ERP experience.
— Fluent English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Odoo.
• Fintech experience (payment gateways, payment processing,..).
