Senior Frontend (Angular) developer (offline)

Controlling the network and managing the people working on a power system is fundamental to ensuring a safe and reliable power system. The system delivers increased productivity and efficiency with active network optimization and control.

The system delivers one network model enabling integrated and streamlined operations, one user interface for an intuitive user experience providing greater situational awareness and one system database that utilizes real-time network information that spans EHV to LV.

The solution combines and builds on the evolution of best in class Energy Distribution and Outage Management capabilities, and is designed from the customer's perspective to maximize usability through simplified and intuitive workflows.

The system is all about keeping the lights on, preventing and responding to outages and maximizing return on network investment in the dynamic and ever-changing distribution environment.

Responsibilities:
Software development based on strict requirements: estimating, developing, unit testing and code review.
Create reusable Angular components and modules working with a variety of back-end micro-services.
Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.

Mandatory Skills:

• 4+ years of experience developing client-side web application
• Solid knowledge and experience in JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript
• Angular experience is a must, 1+ years of experience
• HTML5, CSS3 (with LESS/SASS), XML / JSON
• Good spoken and written English

Nice-to-Have Skills:
∙ Experience of web components, Polymer
∙ Unit and integration tests. Experience with unit tests frameworks such as Jasmine
∙ Good knowledge about common OOP principles, design patterns, coding best practices and development methodologies (TDD, DDD)
∙ Knowledge of the HTTP protocol and application layers
