About the Role
As a Manual QA Engineer, you’ll be the voice of quality inside Coro’s fast-moving R&D teams. Every release you greenlight is a release that shields thousands of SMBs from ransomware, phishing, and data breaches. This role is about designing rigorous, thoughtful test strategies, validating new modules, and driving efficiency so the platform stays resilient as it grows.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the full quality lifecycle for new and existing features, including planning, manual testing, regression, and release support.
- Perform manual testing of web applications (approx. 80% focus), with opportunities to grow into automation and reduce manual cycles over time.
- Collaborate closely within cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, team leads) to ensure product quality, reliability, and user experience.
- Participate in feature kickoff meetings; create and execute test plans from requirements and design documents.
- Manage and document QA work using Jira, including writing clear, well-structured bug reports and test cases.
- Support release processes, including regression/smoke testing and quarterly or monthly Sunday release cycles (with compensatory time off).
- Contribute to sprint reviews and demos, presenting or recording product functionality and results.
- Analyze logs to identify errors/exceptions and provide input for debugging.
- Drive continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements, automation opportunities, and quality best practices.
Required Competence and Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of QA experience
- Desire to grow in the automation area
- Familiarity with QA methodologies and knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Experience with testing web apps
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with creating test plans
- Good communication skills, including strong verbal and written English
- Proactive thinking and initiative mindset
- Strong analytical skills

- Good self-organization skills and ability to self dive into details

- Experience with automation testing - big advantage
