Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS Serverless)

Your Mission

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure for enterprise workflow extension apps.
  • Ensure high availability (99.95% SLA), strong security (SOC2, ISO27001), and cost efficiency in multi-tenant environments.
  • Build metering and monitoring pipelines to track workflow executions per app for billing and analytics.
  • Support developers by automating CI/CD pipelines, IaC deployments, and secure credential management.
  • Be on-call for production reliability incidents.
     

What You’ll Work On

  • Serverless stack: API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFront, WAF, S3, CloudWatch, Step Functions.
  • Networking & security: IAM least privilege, KMS encryption, VPC setups, logging, compliance hardening.
  • CI/CD & automation: Terraform or AWS CDK, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, automated testing & deployment pipelines.
  • Billing & metering: DynamoDB Streams, Firehose, Athena, CloudWatch metrics to meter workflow executions.
  • Monitoring & SRE: Logging, alerting, dashboards, and operational runbooks.
     

Requirements

  • 7+ years of AWS DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, WAF).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CDK).
  • Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, encryption, and compliance practices (SOC2, ISO27001).
  • Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and optimize for performance/cost.
  • Good written technical English (we work in English; team communication may mix English/Ukrainian).
