What you’ll do:

• Own all things motion: Be the go-to expert for motion, animation, and dynamic illustrations across our brand.
• Animate our new landing page: Collaborate closely with our UX/UI Lead to bring our new landing page to life. You won't be designing it from scratch, but you will be responsible for all its motion, micro-interactions, and animations.
• Create delightful product illustrations: Design and animate a library of compelling, on-brand Lottie animations and illustrations for our product, website, and marketing.
• Translate complexity into magic: Turn our AI concepts into simple, engaging visual stories and animations that help users "get it."
• Collaborate and ship fast: Work directly with me (co-founder), our UX/UI Lead, and engineers to rapidly concept, animate, and deploy motion assets in fast cycles.
• Master your tools: Bring static Figma designs to life. You'll work within our established design system to create, optimize, and export animations using After Effects and Lottie.

What we’re looking for:
 

• A world-class motion portfolio: 3–7 years of experience as a Motion Designer, with a portfolio that showcases heavy use of Lottie, web animations, and product illustrations.
• Lottie/After effects mastery: You are an expert. You know how to build and optimize Lottie/JSON files so they are crisp, performant, and lightweight.
• Strong illustration skills: The ability to create and animate unique icons, spot illustrations, and product concepts in our brand style.
• Tooling expertise: Expert-level skills in After Effects, Lottie, and Figma. You're a pro at grabbing assets from a Figma file and your exported Lottie files are clean and developer-ready.
