Middle/Senior Fullstack Developer (offline)

On behalf of Indeed, AgileEngine is looking for a Middle or Senior Fullstack Engineer to develop front and backend solutions for the internal Indeed products. The ideal candidate’s prior work experience reflects high standards for engineering with proven capabilities. As a Fullstack engineer at Indeed, you’ll bring a wealth of skill and experience in Python (Flask) to a fullstack product team, and be ever-vigilant about the performance, accessibility, and sustainability of the solutions you’re developing together.

Required skills
● Significant practical experience with:
— Python/Flask
— React
— HTML, CSS,
— JS
— Experience Git and pull requests
— Experience with JIRA and Confluence
— Strong UI debugging skills
— Takes initiative to ask questions, identify new bugs, test cross-device/cross-platform, etc.
● 2+ years experience in software development
● Ability to operate as a team member of a small, cross-functional team
● Excellent analytical and time management skills
● Upper-Intermediate English

Project description
Since 2004, Indeed has given job seekers free access to millions of jobs from thousands of company websites and job boards. As the leading pay-for-performance recruitment advertising network, Indeed drives millions of targeted applicants to jobs in every field and is the most cost-effective source of candidates for thousands of companies.

Alexandria is a web-based information system that allows Search Quality, Product, and Engineering Team Members to discover information about indexes from various data sources in order to ensure that they make good decisions based on correct information and to save them time and effort of building new indexes unnecessarily. The system currently receives 1400 unique users per month, but almost half of Indeed (~4700 people) can potentially benefit from this solution.

The vision for Alexandria is to be the first stop and definitive source for all data questions at Indeed, enabling Indeedians to discover data, find existing analyses from colleagues, and determine high quality sources of information from non-technical and technical data sources alike. To realize this vision, we will be adding new data sources and features to Alexandria, and implement a major UI update.
