Job Description

This is a remote position. We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Junior Product (UI/UX) Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital product design, confident in Figma, and eager to grow through hands-on experience and mentorship.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Lead Designer to support product development and maintain the quality and consistency of our design system. You’ll also collaborate with marketing and sales teams on visual materials and contribute to the overall user experience of RiskSeal’s platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the existing component library: maintain, fix, update, and grow it by creating new components.
  • Create high-fidelity UI designs for product features using the existing design system.
  • Build interactive prototypes and animations in Figma.
  • Creating responsive designs and adapting layouts for different screen sizes.
  • Take part in UX research and usability testing activities (as an assistant).
  • Prepare visual assets and presentation materials for marketing and sales teams.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and design best practices.
  • Familiarity with Nielsen Norman’s 10 Usability Heuristics.
  • Knowledge of major design system guidelines (Material Design, Apple HIG, etc.)
  • Strong practical Figma skills: auto layout, components, variants, styles, variables, prototyping, and animations.
  • Skill in creating responsive designs and adapting layouts for different screen sizes.
  • Awareness of development constraints — understanding what’s feasible to build
  • English upper intermediate (B2) level.
  • Portfolio is required — applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Soft Skills & Team Fit

  • Responsibility and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-organization and ability to communicate progress and blockers to the lead designer.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving product team with short design-build–release cycles.
  • Able to accept and apply constructive design feedback.
  • High attention to visual detail and consistency
  • Finds satisfaction in seeing their designs go live quickly.
