Payment Product Manager / AppLab

As we scale, we are seeking Payment Product Manager to join our AppLab — our venture-backed team testing bold ideas, building next-gen health & wellness, productivity apps, and empowering users worldwide to live better lives.
This is an opportunity to take a key role in scaling our projects — bringing visibility, control, and strategic direction.


 

What you will be doing:

  • reduce and maintain the dispute rate on the Stripe account below 0.8% across a quarter;
  • implement infrastructure for automatic payment routing between Stripe, Paddle (and other providers) — to reduce risk, improve scalability, and ensure the stability of the payment system;
  • increase the conversion rate from checkout to purchase by X% (exact target to be agreed upon based on the current situation);
  • develop a comprehensive monitoring system for the payment infrastructure and introduce tools to keep key metrics (dispute rate, refund rate, fraud rate, success rate) within acceptable limits;
  • collaborate with Finance and Marketing teams on cross-functional analytics, LTV/CAC calculations, and pricing A/B tests to improve monetization efficiency.

     

Your background:

  • 1–2 years of experience in online payments, billing, or fintech with subscription-based products;
  • english — at least B2 level;
  • experience working with payment providers such as Stripe, Paddle, or others;
  • experience working with core payment metrics: LTV/CAC, dispute rate, refund rate, fraud rate, success rate;
  • understanding of unit economics and subscription-based monetization;
  • analytical mindset with an enthusiasm for improving key performance metrics;
  • interest in payment systems and payment products.
