Test Lead for automotive project (offline)
Infopulse Ukraine is inviting talented professionals to join our project as a Test Lead (ID:8113) at our Kyiv office for a long-term global project – a state-of-the-art product for the automotive industry.
Our customer is a market leader, serving the major companies in automotive industry. The product is a hi-end car infotainment system (advanced real-time information, communication, entertainment, media and navigation systems; deep integration with handheld devices, cloud, and mixed reality, etc.). As hundreds of millions of users will use the product, it will be developed by an international team, with adherence to the highest levels of quality assurance and industry standards.
Areas of responsibility
We are looking for a specialist, who will be part of a large international team and will be responsible for:
· quality of the modules of the car head unit and the controller implementation of other systems (navigation, speech & voice recognition, connectivity & networking)
· test resources distribution
· planning and timing inside the test team
· communication with the customer regarding the test process and test related topics
Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience as a manual/automation QA - experience in testing of embedded systems
· Profound understanding of test process
· Extensive experience in Linux/Unix-based systems
· Good understanding of network technologies
· Experience in version control systems (Git, SVN)
· Experience with bug tracking systems
· Good command of English (both written and spoken)
Will be an advantage:
· Experience in leading the team/mentoring
· ISTQB certification
· Automotive experience
· Experience in hardware testing
· Continuous Integration/knowledge of build systems (Jenkins)
· Automation testing experience
· Experience with scripting or other programming languages (С++, Python, JavaScript)
· Working knowledge of German (both written and spoken)
