Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Backend / GenAI Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust APIs, integrate GenAI models into production environments, and contribute to the overall architecture of our platform. Requirements

• Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Autonomous player who can take ownership and drive solutions independently.
• Overall 8+ years in software engineering with startup experience.
• 5+ years backend engineering experience with expert Python skills.
• 1+ years production generative AI experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Experience with scalable backend systems, micro-services, and distributed systems.
• AWS experience: EKS, S3, Bedrock, Elasticache, RDS.

• Production system experience: monitoring, alerting, security.

   

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices that support production workloads.
• Implement solutions involving generative AI, including working with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering in production environments.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to architect, build, and deploy distributed systems on AWS infrastructure, utilizing services such as EKS, S3, Bedrock, Elasticache, and RDS.
• Ensure reliability, security, and performance of production systems through effective monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in software engineering and AI technologies to innovate and enhance product capabilities.
