Senior Game Designer
We're seeking a Senior Game Designer to join our team, which is dedicated to crafting the studio's first-ever original IP and video game. We believe the universe we are creating is one bursting with limitless potential, and we want you to help us broaden and utilize it.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Documenting an innovative design for systems and features that follow the game direction.
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation to effectively communicate concepts, requirements, and implementation details to team members.
- Collaborate with engineers to implement gameplay systems, providing clear specifications and iterating based on technical constraints.
- Taking ownership of features/systems of the game.
- Balance and tune gameplay systems using data-driven approaches.
- Build and iterate on gameplay prototypes to validate design concepts before full implementation.
- Help identify technical pitfalls and challenges in our designs, offering possible solutions or alternatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in titles such as Shooters or Action RPGs, with melee combat.
- The ability to take the lead of a creative element of the game, communicate with all parties involved, gather feedback, and sink their teeth into it until it's finished.
- Openness to receiving and giving feedback about your work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, the ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams, and an openness to change and experimentation.
- Ability to include others in the design process.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- A high level of digital literacy and the ability to adapt to new software and tools (Confluence, Jira, etc.)
- Passion for games and a good sense of humor are appreciated!
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in working with Unity Engine.
- A good knowledge and familiarity with the various game maker disciplines, coding, animation, game physics, 3D Art, etc.
- Has shipped games with a multiplayer focus.
- Fluent in Ukrainian (spoken).
