Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Modern Expo’s Out Of Home (OOH) solutions — both software and hardware — meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and user experience. You will lead quality assurance efforts across various projects, from defining test strategies to automation implementation, and serve as a key gatekeeper of product excellence before deployment to global clients.

What you’ll be working on:

Test Planning & Execution

- Define and document test strategies, plans, and test cases based on product requirements.

- Perform functional, regression, performance, and exploratory testing across software and integrated hardware systems.

Automation Ownership
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern frameworks.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for scalable delivery.
Defect Management
- Proactively identify, log, and track defects through resolution.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve quality issues.
QA Process Improvement
- Continuously evaluate current QA processes and propose improvements.

- Introduce new tools or methodologies to boost QA productivity and accuracy.
Knowledge Sharing & Mentorship
- Share testing insights and best practices with junior QA members.

- Lead testing reviews and participate in design walkthroughs.

Preferred requirements for this role:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance for software or IoT products.

- Strong technical toolkit: hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress; QA frameworks like Postman or JMeter; scripting in Python or JavaScript; and CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab.

- Solid understanding of complex systems, including software-hardware integrations.

- Proven ability to work within Scrum/Agile frameworks and collaborate in fast-paced product teams.

- Minimum B2 level of English proficiency (both written and spoken).

- Availability to be based in Lutsk — Modern Expo’s Headquarters.

- Strong analytical skills, including root cause analysis and bug isolation.

- Quality-first mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

- Proactive and self-driven approach with a sense of ownership for QA outcomes.
