Senior Project Manager for a Hardware / Sensing Project

We're on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our quickly growing team at Universium. Our company has established a set of long-term partnerships with U.S.-based startups. In this case, we are expanding several of our units with a main focus on our product in the hardware / sensing space. You will work with a distributed team across PST, EST, and EEST (Kyiv) time zones. We expect that you will work in the EU time zone with occasional check-ins with the leadership in PST and EST time zones.

πŸ“Œ Responsibilities:

- Clear understanding and maintenance of the project goals & roadmap;

- Effective communication with the U.S.-based client team;

- Weekly reporting of deliverables and assignments in progress;

- Upkeep of internal R&D assignments, responsibilities, and deadlines;

- Daily stand-ups, task assignments, workload, and team allocation;

- Feedback loop with company leadership, focus on constant improvement, and team happiness.

 

🎯 Requirements:

 

- Fluent English proficiency (C1 minimum);

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills;

- Experience of working with U.S.-based teams & clients;

- Ability to clearly convert client requirements into a roadmap and day-to-day tasks;

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;

- 5+ years of PM experience in mid-size engineering teams;

 

πŸ”₯ Would be a plus:

 

- Knowledge of UI/UX (and/or) software development fundamentals;

- Experience in IoT, sensing, or hardware sector;

- Prior experience working in a startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity and a global team;

- Experience in conflict resolution, negotiation techniques, and ability to address conflicts constructively;
