Manual QA Engineer Offline

The Role

As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be a critical guardian of our product's quality. You will be responsible for ensuring that our web applications—both the main site and the admin panel—meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and user experience. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the entire development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to release. This is a role for someone who is passionate about finding issues, suggesting improvements, and championing a culture of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive manual testing across our web applications, including the main site and the admin panel.
• Own the quality documentation process: Create, maintain, and improve essential test artifacts, including bug reports, test cases, check-lists, testing strategies, and user manuals.
• Drive the testing process: Provide accurate time estimations for testing tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
• Conduct in-depth API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger to validate data integrity and functionality.
• Analyze complex systems: Test interactions between our various microservices to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
• Collaborate on product requirements: Actively participate in requirements analysis, suggest improvements, and identify potential discrepancies or risks early on.
• Champion quality: Uphold and control quality standards throughout the entire development cycle, from initial concept to final release.

What We're Looking For (Requirements):

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing of Web applications and APIs.
• Proven experience in creating and implementing key testing documentation (test plans, test strategies, test cases, etc.).
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Experience testing complex product ecosystems with a microservices architecture (UI, APIs, Databases).
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JSON) and version control systems (Git, Git Flow).
• A strategic mindset: Ability to implement test metrics, monitor project health, and effectively communicate quality, compliance, and risk issues to leadership.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for prioritizing tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
