Tech Lead Java Developer Offline

We’re looking for a Tech Lead Java Developer to take ownership of a challenging and fast-evolving project — building a fully custom casino and betting platform tailored to the client’s unique business goals.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement core backend features using Java 11+
• Own and evolve the platform’s architecture
• Develop scalable, high-load services and APIs
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality
• Guide and mentor other developers
• Collaborate with QA, analysts, designers, and product managers
• Take part in sprint planning and backlog discussions
• Integrate with third-party systems (games, payments, KYC)

Your Skillset

• 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java 11+
• Deep understanding of Spring (IoC, Security, Data, JWT)
• Solid knowledge of RESTful and WebSocket APIs
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience designing systems in a microservices architecture
• Familiarity with production systems at scale
• Cloud experience (preferably AWS)
• Clean code principles, solid OOP and design pattern knowledge
• Willingness and ability to write production-level code on a daily basis

Nice to Have

• Experience in the iGaming industry
• Familiarity with observability tools (monitoring, logging, metrics)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools
