Senior QA Engineer to $3400 Offline

At the moment, we are looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer ($$2900-3400).

Please note that this is a full-time on-site position in our Lviv office.
 

Position Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
•    5+ years of manual QA experience with web applications and complex systems.
•    Strong experience with manual API testing (REST, understanding of microservices).
•    Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, or similar).
•    Experience with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).
•    Understanding of SQL for database verification.
•    Experience creating comprehensive test documentation.
•    Knowledge of testing best practices and methodologies.
•    Experience with multi-browser and multi-device testing.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior team members.
•    Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

•    Design comprehensive manual test strategies and test plans.
•    Create detailed test cases for complex business scenarios.
•    Execute thorough manual testing of web applications and mobile interfaces.
•    Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate endpoints.
•    Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and issues.
•    Execute regression testing for releases and hotfixes.
•    Test complete user journeys across all system functionalities.
•    Validate data integrity across different system components.
•    Report and document bugs with clear reproduction steps and evidence.
•    Collaborate with developers to understand features and clarify requirements.
•    Review requirements and provide feedback on testability.
•    Mentor junior QA engineers and share testing knowledge.
•    Maintain test documentation and testing standards.
•    Participate in release planning and provide quality assessments.
