Middle/Senior QA engineer (back-end testing)

FAVBET Tech develops software that is used by millions of players around the world for the international company FAVBET Entertainment.
We develop innovations in the field of gambling and betting through a complex multi-component platform which is capable to withstand enormous loads and provide a unique experience for players.
FAVBET Tech does not organize and conduct gambling on its platform. Its main focus is software development.

Main areas of work:

• Betting/Gambling Platform Software Development — software development that is easy to use and personalized for each customer;
• Highload Development — development of highly loaded services and systems;
• CRM System Development — development of a number of services to ensure a high level of customer service, effective engagement of new customers and retention of existing ones;
• Big Data — development of complex systems for processing and analysis of big data;
• Cloud Services — we use cloud technologies for scaling and business efficiency.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of professional experience as QA
• Proven experience in manual testing
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Web Testing: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser dev tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) to inspect elements, analyze network traffic, and validate issues on web applications.
• Mobile Testing: Familiarity with testing mobile applications (Android/iOS).
• Cross-Platform Testing: Knowledge of testing across different platforms (e.g., web, mobile, desktop).
• Regression Testing: Experience in performing regression tests after code updates.

Technical Skills:

• Manual Testing: Ability to write test cases, perform exploratory testing, identify bugs, and document defects clearly.
• Bug Tracking Tools: Proficiency in using tools like Jira to log and manage defects.
• Databases: Basic knowledge of SQL queries to perform data validation, and check data integrity in databases.
• API Testing: Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger, RestAssured for testing APIs.
• Experience with test management tools to plan, document, and manage test cases, such as: Zephyr.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) concepts.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases and scenarios based on business and functional specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on the application.
• Cross-platform testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps using tools like Jira.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other teams to ensure thorough test coverage and clear communication.
• Maintain test cases, logs, and provide regular status reports on test execution and defects
