Data Engineer (offline)

We specialize in flexible interaction exclusively with international clients (we cover industries from commercial aviation to fintech).

Currently, we are looking for a Data Engineer for the development of our new client project.

About the project: Client’s company leverages human and artificial intelligence to scan the web for relevant and trending content that is personalized for their clients’ needs. Their algorithm uses proprietary machine learning algorithms to analyze content and engagement in a continuous, real-time environment. The data analysis continues 24/7. That means their algorithm gets better and better at predicting what readers most want to see.

Technologies stack on the project: Python, Docker, Rabbit MQ, AWS, SQL, Microservices. Working according to Scrum.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Designing the ETL procedures and transform the concepts you design into products
- Design and build prototypes, implement robust production-level applications for predictive models, analytics dashboards and other data processing and ingestion mechanisms
- Understand algorithms, data structures, and design patterns in order to design the architecture of solutions developed by the team

You will fit if you have:
- Vast experience with SQL (2-4 years) – Advice engineering teams in the design of the correct DB Schema and indexing strategy for performance and scalability, Query Optimization, ORM etc.
- Proven experience of applying qualitative research and business common sense to contextualize and solve data problems
- 2-4 years of experience programming and developing of data-oriented applications.
- Curiosity about diverse fields & the ability to learn quickly

Can be a plus:
- Experience with modeling website interactions
- Experience with PowerBI or another BI tool
- Knowledge of Python
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience with Machine Learning

Work Schedule and location:
Flexible: it is not necessary to sit out from 09:00 to 18:00. You can work from home 1 day a week. If you want, you can come earlier and, accordingly, leave earlier (+/- 2 hours). The workplace in the office is in two steps (actually less than 1 minute!) from the metro station Pecherskaya. Every day you can have lunch here in a new place — the full abundance of options.
