About Us
V-Spot is a fast-growing London-based startup with active operations in Switzerland and the UK. We specialize in cutting-edge cybersecurity services, blockchain security, and custom backend/web solutions.
We’re building a global team of top engineers and security minds — people who thrive on solving deep technical challenges and aren’t afraid to work close to the metal.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a sharp, experienced Telecom / VoIP Integration Engineer to join us on a remote, project basis. You’ll be working on low-level telecom integrations (SIP, RTP, DID, VoIP APIs), helping us set up and manage scalable call infrastructure for programmatic voice processing.
This is not a plug-and-play Twilio job — we’re looking for someone who knows how telecom actually works.
What You’ll Do
- Integrate and configure SIP trunks, DID numbers, and VoIP providers
- Set up and manage PBX systems (e.g. Asterisk, Kamailio, FreeSWITCH)
- Define call routing logic, IVRs, call forking, failover handling
- Work with developers to enable real-time call streaming and backend connectivity
- Troubleshoot SIP-level issues and optimize signaling flows
Requirements
- Deep understanding of SIP, RTP, VoIP protocols, and signaling
Hands-on experience with:
- Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, or OpenSIPS
- Telecom tools like sngrep, Wireshark, SIPp
- Managing SBCs, gateways, NAT traversal, STUN/TURN configs
Familiarity with:
- Telecom APIs (Twilio, Plivo, SignalWire, Telnyx)
- DID provisioning, call routing, failover logic
- Bonus: Understanding of eSIM/SIM management, mobile infra
- Bonus: Comfort working with backend languages (Python, Go, Node.js)
What You Get
- Project-based contract with remote flexibility
- Competitive compensation
- Direct access to founders and a technical-first culture
- Fast decision-making and high-impact work
- A potential path to long-term collaboration in a core engineering role
