Digital Marketing Generalist
We are looking for a proactive and creative Digital Marketing Generalist to lead our marketing efforts and help grow the personal brand of our founder, especially on LinkedIn. You'll work across multiple marketing areas — from content creation and campaign planning to guest outreach and podcast coordination.
This is a dynamic role with space to grow and adapt as new opportunities come up.
What You’ll Do
- Personal Brand Management: Develop and execute content strategies to grow the founder’s presence on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Content Creation & Repurposing: Write and adapt blog posts, articles, newsletters, landing pages, case studies, and ad copy for multiple channels; ensure content is tailored for maximum reach and impact.
- Guest Posting & Outreach: Identify, pitch, and secure opportunities to publish content on high-visibility industry websites, communities, and media outlets.
- Podcast Scheduling & Repurposing: Research and coordinate podcast appearances for the founder, and repurpose podcast material into articles, social media posts, and other content formats.
- Social Media Management: Plan and schedule posts, engage with the audience, and monitor performance using tools like Buffer.
- SEO & Link Building: Apply fundamental SEO principles to optimize content and web pages; understand link building and its role in driving authority and traffic.
- Email Campaigns: Assist in creating and analyzing email campaigns.
- Market Trend Analysis: Monitor market and industry trends; identify timely content opportunities and optimize content strategy accordingly.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the design team and project managers to align messaging, visuals, and marketing efforts.
- Case Study Development: Create concise, engaging case studies from completed projects, making them easily shareable on social media and other professional networks.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze campaign and content performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize results.
Requirements:
- 2+ years in digital marketing (agency or in-house).
- Strong written and spoken English (Upper-intermediate or higher).
- Ability to plan campaigns, set goals, and analyze data to optimize marketing activities.
- Demonstrated ability to produce original, engaging content and creative campaigns, particularly for design-related topics.
- Self-starter, comfortable taking initiative and working independently in a dynamic environment.
- Great communicator and team player.
Experience & Tools:
- Content & Social Media: Experience creating and managing content for professional social platforms (especially LinkedIn), blogs, newsletters, and websites.
- Campaign Management: Proficient with tools such as Buffer (or similar scheduling platforms) and email campaign tools (Mailchimp, SendGrid, etc.).
- SEO & Analytics: Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, keyword research, SEMrush (or similar), and basic link building strategies.
- Design & Content Tools: Proficiency with Canva and/or Figma for creating visual assets and marketing materials.
- AI Content Tools: Comfortable using ChatGPT, Claude, and similar AI-powered writing tools for brainstorming, drafting, and refining content.
- Podcast Coordination: Experience researching and booking podcast appearances is a plus.
