Growth Marketing Manager to $1300
About us
We’re Exibeat – a small team of music lovers building a marketplace to explore, share, and connect around electronic dance music. DJs, producers, and labels are our focus. We’re getting ready to launch and need someone who can help us grow, connect with our community, and shape how we present ourselves to the world.
The role
We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable juggling content, community, and growth. You enjoy being creative, but also don’t mind digging into data or setting up workflows. In the morning, you might be chatting with a DJ, one hour later planning content, and then checking Amplitude to know what’s working in our analytics.
This isn’t a big company job – we move fast, test ideas, and learn as we go. The focus right now is on organic growth, so we’re looking for someone who knows how to make a big impact with limited resources, using guerrilla tactics and community-led strategies.
What you’ll do
- Plan and run small growth experiments, then track and share what’s working
- Lead our social content – plan, create, and post (mainly on Instagram)
- Build content calendars and campaign plans
- Reach out to potential users (mostly cold outreach via Instagram or email)
- Build and support the Exibeat community (DJs, producers, labels)
- Collaborate on user onboarding, artist comms, and customer support
- Help set up and manage support channels
- Track engagement and retention, and look for ways to improve
- Analyze data, build simple dashboards, and share insights with the team
- Key goals: channel growth, user acquisition, activation and retention.
Who you are
- A mix of content creator, community builder, copywriter and data thinker
- A hands-on person who likes fast-moving, creative environments, attentive to details
- Comfortable working independently and making calls
- Into electronic music and the culture around it
- Fluent in English and comfortable using it day to day
- Curious about marketing and always looking to learn more
- Willing to be a rockstar in B2C growth marketing
What you know (or can pick up quickly)
- Social media tools (Instagram, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
- Trello, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace
- Analytics tools like Amplitude (or similar)
- Basics of A/B testing and tracking funnels
- Bonus if you’ve worked at a startup or on a marketplace
Why work with us
- Join a small, dedicated team that cares deeply about music
- Help shape and grow a new music platform from the start
- Own your projects and have room to grow into a leading role (you are the first marketing hire)
- Flexible structure, creative freedom, and support where needed
- VSOP after successful probation
- We’re doing this for the love of the music, and we’d love to find someone who feels the same
