Delivery Manager

Outstaff Hiring: Remote – Contract

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to support multiple agile teams and ensure smooth project delivery across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has deep knowledge of Scrum practices, and enjoys helping teams succeed and grow.

You’ll work closely with developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to manage delivery pipelines, coach teams, and remove roadblocks. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, servant leader, and proactive problem solver.

Start Date: Flexible, ideally in September

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Coaching & Facilitation:

• Act as Scrum Master for 2–4 teams, coaching and mentoring on agile principles
• Facilitate agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives
• Promote cross-functional teamwork and continuous improvement
• Remove blockers and enable team autonomy
• Ensure Definition of Done and Definition of Ready are followed

• Adapt Scrum processes to best fit the team's needs

   

Delivery Management:

• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs
• Track sprint and release progress, managing risks and dependencies
• Coordinate release planning and cross-team alignment
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, working software
• Lead project management around releases across departments (incl. Marketing)

• Monitor agile metrics like velocity, cycle time, and lead time

   

Team Support & Development:

• Coach teams toward higher performance and ownership
• Provide regular feedback and support personal growth
• Support team members via 1:1s (when appropriate)

• Uphold organizational quality and delivery standards

   

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the main point of contact for delivery status and escalations
• Manage expectations and align with company goals

• Represent teams in internal and customer-facing meetings

   

Other Responsibilities:

• Maintain and configure project tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Create and share detailed sprint/release reports

• Facilitate customer escalation meetings when needed

   

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles, managing multiple teams
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile frameworks
• Proven ability to drive delivery in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and agile metrics
• Strong stakeholder management and risk mitigation skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

   

Nice-to-Have:

• Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe, etc.)
• Experience in remote, distributed team environments
