Senior / Strong Middle DevOps Engineer (AWS, Cloudflare, Mobile CI/CD)

About the Project

We’re building a scalable, multi-brand gambling platform targeting the US market.

Our architecture already spans dozens of microservices, internal VPN routing, geo-aware traffic handling, and custom CDN layers across AWS and Cloudflare — all aimed at performance, resilience, and rapid growth.

We’re moving toward a B2B model, where infrastructure must scale to dozens of new brands/projects monthly. That means automation, standardization, and resilience are not optional — they’re the core of the mission.
 

💼 Your Responsibilities

• Design, manage and scale AWS infrastructure (ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, WAF, VPN, Nodes)
• Deploy and maintain Docker-based microservices using ECS Fargate
• Build automation for multi-project rollout (5+ projects per month)
• Handle geo-routing logic (US vs non-US), mirrors and traffic segmentation
• Configure and monitor Cloudflare (proxy, TLS, firewall rules, caching)
• Work with VPC peering, PrivateLink, internal DNS for MongoDB, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL
• Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for backend, frontend and mobile apps (Android/iOS, Expo)
• Automate deployments and infra setup using AWS CloudFormation (IaC-first approach)
• Ensure observability: log forwarding, alerting, dashboards (CloudWatch, Loki, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Improve security posture: TLS rules, WAF rules, VPN tunnels, bot protection
   

 Stack

• AWS: ECS (Fargate), RDS (PostgreSQL), S3, CloudFront, WAF, Route53, SQS, SNS, ElastiCache, etc.
• Cloudflare: Proxy, DNS, TLS certs, Geo-blocking/WAF rules.
• Containerization: Docker + ECS with private networking.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB (via VPC peering).
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions (multi-env deploys, tagging, rollout policies), mobile pipelines (Android/iOS, Expo EAS).
• Infra as Code: AWS CloudFormation (Terraform/Ansible as a plus).
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Sentry, CloudWatch.
• Security: VPN (WireGuard/OpenVPN), certbot, custom TLS/WAF/bot protection.

 Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps/SRE roles (production environments).
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS ECS + Fargate + CloudFront.
• Solid Docker/container orchestration skills.
• Proven Cloudflare expertise (proxy, caching, firewall rules).
• Practical experience building and maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Experience with mobile app CI/CD (Android, iOS, Expo).
• Strong Linux, networking, NAT/firewall knowledge.
• Automation-first mindset: always think in terms of IaC and scaling.
• Ability to work independently and propose new ideas/optimizations.

 Bonus Points

• Experience with geo-routing and regional content split.
• Familiarity with ClickHouse / high-throughput data systems.
• WireGuard/OpenVPN tunnel configuration knowledge.
• Experience deploying/monitoring decentralized nodes (ETH/BSC).
• Worked with BYOIP or custom edge networks.
• Contributions to DevOps toolchains (Terraform modules, Ansible roles, open-source infra)
