Lead Generation Specialist / Sales Development Representative (SDR) to $1000

Cycles is looking for a Lead Generation Specialist / Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify, generate, and nurture high-quality leads through LinkedIn, Upwork, and other channels. The ideal candidate will excel in personalized outreach and building meaningful connections to attract potential clients from eCommerce businesses and digital agencies seeking Shopify development solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Outreach via LinkedIn and Email

  • Develop and execute custom B2B outreach campaigns using LinkedIn and email.
  • Write engaging and persuasive messaging tailored to Shopify store owners and digital agencies.
  • Schedule and manage semi-automated and manual email send-outs.
  • Handle prospect responses: address objections, schedule appointments, and manage follow-ups.
  • Build long-term relationships with prospects to drive trust and engagement.
  • Explore new business opportunities in the market.
  • Coordinate meetings or calls between prospects and the Cycles team.
  • Track and report weekly sales metrics and campaign performance to the management team.
  • Use automation tools (e.g., Reply.io, Snov.io, MixMax) for scalable outreach campaigns.
  • Conduct manual outreach for smaller, high-priority contact bases.
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of leads and prospects aligned with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Write and publish LinkedIn posts for the account used in outreach campaigns, ensuring the content aligns with the target audience’s interests and builds credibility. (3 posts per week)

 

Possible Upwork Engagement

  • Research, identify, and approach potential leads on Upwork aligned with our ICP (Shopify development projects, eCommerce stores, and digital agencies).
  • Write highly customized, persuasive cover letters for job proposals (approximately 5 bids per day).
  • Meet and exceed defined KPI goals for lead generation and engagement.
  • Analyze and report on lead generation metrics to optimize future performance.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Experience: 1+ years in an SDR, lead generation, or similar role.
  • Language Skills: Strong Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (B2-C1).
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Shopify, eCommerce platforms, and digital agency workflows.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, assess campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Writing Skills: Demonstrated ability to craft compelling outreach messages and cover letters.
  • Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with digital tools and platforms (e.g., CRM systems, outreach automation tools) for efficient lead generation.
  • Attributes: Organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and collaboration.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with popular outreach tools (e.g., Snov.io, Apollo, Reply.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Familiarity with proxies and automation for efficient campaign scaling.
  • Prior experience working with Shopify development services, eCommerce solutions, or digital agency lead generation.
