Senior Big Data Developer (offline)

Requirements:
• 3+ years of working experience as a Big Data Developer;
• Knowledge of Big Data;
• Experience in Spark, Scala, Python;
• Experience in ETL development;
• Knowledge of data cleaning techniques.
• English: Intermediate.

Nice to have:
• Experience in R scripting, Azure Databricks, Azure HDInsigths, Informatica will be a great plus;
• Ph.D. in a quantitative-based science (Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.).

Responsibilities:
• Work with businesses to define the scope and identify model requirements;
• Focus on usability, performance, scale, extensibility;
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability;
• Develop data strategies by establishing integrated architecture and hierarchy; define ETL strategies;
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.

You will be working a project inside the platform responsible for
— requesting, tracking and collecting data from our clients in a more efficient and automated manner;
— slashing the time required to cleanse, validate and prepare data (for completeness, accuracy) for downstream analysis
— combining professional experience and an immense collection of content with emerging technologies to discover patterns and anomalies in client data to automatically flag issues, opportunities, and planning needs

The platform was just started this Feb and use only the latest technologies and modern architecture approaches:
— .Net Core
— Angular 7, TypeScript, GraphQL
— Mongo
— a lot of Azure SaaS/PaaS
— Docker, K8s
— Azure ADLS Gen2, Informatica, Databricks, Spark, Levy, Python, Scala, Machine Learning
