Intern Application Support Engineer (offline)
Required knowledge of:
β’ TCP/IP stack, OSI network model2.
β’ IP Addressing - classes, masks, networks/subnetworks
β’ Protocols: DNS, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS
β’ Security: ACL, VPN, Certificates
β’ Operation Systems: Windows (90%), installation, configuration, backup
β’ Monitoring: Basic knowledge
β’ Active Directory: basic knowledge
β’ Public cloud: basic knowledge
β’ Intermediate and higher spoken English.
Responsibilities:
β’ Working with tickets
β’ Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
β’ Resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support
β’ Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
β’ Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
β’ Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
β’ Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
β’ Filing accurate and timely reports regarding problems
β’ Prepare network & server reports
β’ Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
