Intern Application Support Engineer (offline)

Schedule: 3 days from 9am till 9pm, 3 days-off, 3 nights from 9pm till 9am,3 days-off.

Required knowledge of:

β€’ TCP/IP stack, OSI network model2.
β€’ IP Addressing - classes, masks, networks/subnetworks
β€’ Protocols: DNS, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS
β€’ Security: ACL, VPN, Certificates
β€’ Operation Systems: Windows (90%), installation, configuration, backup
β€’ Monitoring: Basic knowledge
β€’ Active Directory: basic knowledge
β€’ Public cloud: basic knowledge
β€’ Intermediate and higher spoken English.

Responsibilities:

β€’ Working with tickets
β€’ Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
β€’ Resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support
β€’ Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
β€’ Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
β€’ Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
β€’ Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
β€’ Filing accurate and timely reports regarding problems
β€’ Prepare network & server reports
β€’ Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
