Senior Java Developer (offline)

Required skills:
— At least 5 years of experience in analysing, designing, coding, testing and deploying software;
— Proficient in API design and OOD/OOP;
— Extensive knowledge of the Java language and its libraries like Guava;
— Good knowledge in Web application based on Java, Hibernate, REST, EJB, JMS, JSON, XML;
— Experience in Unit testing;
— Experience with databases, especially PostgreSQL;
— Experience with IntelliJ, Eclipse, Subversion, Git, Maven, Docker, Hudson/Jenkins;
— Experience in Agile projects;
— Willing to find a better code and better applications; ability to give feedback and openness to receive feedback (e.g. code reviews);
— Very strong communication skills;
— Very quick and high comprehension → find misunderstandings and make things clear;
— Team-orientation, hands-on, high motivation and goal orientation;
— Good spoken English.

As a plus
— Experience with at least one out of the following: E-Business, Catalog Data Management, EDI Message
— Exchange, Internet applications, E-Commerce;
— Experience with Atlassian Jira & Confluence;
— Experience in integration testing on development-side;
— Experience in test-infrastructure and continuous delivery (docker, CD-tools, etc.).

Responsibilities
— Software Engineering as a fully integrated team member of an existing Agile development team;
— Technical design and implementation as well as automated testing for software components;
— Learning together to improve application and code towards the future.
