Key responsibilities:
- Searching for payment solutions/payment providers for the high-risk industry (Tier 1 countries);
- Attending conferences and professional events;
- Building strong and trusting relationships with partners and key decision-makers;
- Close collaboration with internal teams (sales, product, legal, compliance, finance);
- Managing project tasks related to the launch of payment solutions;
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and emerging promising trends in the industry;
- Coordinating activities, exchanging relevant information, and providing feedback for the successful implementation and launch of payment solutions;
- Providing regular reports on business development activities, PSPs/Banks relationships, market trends, and performance metrics;
- Analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations.
Required professional experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a BizDev role within the high-risk sector (gambling);
- Experience in searching, launching, and implementing new payment solutions;
- Experience and understanding of how to effectively leverage industry events, networking, etc;
- In-depth knowledge of payment processing technologies, payment methods, and industry terminology (AML, KYC, PCI-DSS, etc.);
- Analytical mindset and ability to conduct market research, track trends, and analyze competitor activities, emerging technologies in the payment and gambling industries;
- Negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and ensure competitive rates and terms;
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and develop relationships with payment providers and financial institutions;
- Fluent in English (upper intermediate+ level).
