SEO Specialist

We're currently looking for an SEO specialist to take full ownership of our SEO direction and help drive real results.

As part of Altum, DevOut Labs is a WordPress white-label development team delivering high-quality websites for US-based marketing agencies. While hiring is managed under Altum, this role is for DevOut Labs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in SEO from 2 years: semantics, site structure planning, on-page optimization;
  • Ability to work with SEO content: drafting briefs, checking alignment with search intent;
  • Basic experience in link building: outreach, directories, guest posts (or coordination)
  • Experience with Google Search Console, Ahrefs or SEMrush;
  • Understanding of CMS (WordPress) and site structure;
  • English level not lower than Upper-Intermediate โ€” written and analytical communication;
  • Self-organization and responsibility โ€” ability to plan independently and report on progress;
  • Focus on results (traffic, SQL, rankings), not just the process;
  • Proactiveness โ€” willingness to suggest improvements, new directions or hypotheses;

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the SEO direction: semantics, keyword map, site structure;
  • Create a monthly content plan, prepare briefs for copywriters, review articles;
  • Coordinate manual link building (or do it yourself: outreach, directories, guest posts)
  • Work with Google Search Console / Ahrefs / analytics;
  • Optimize service pages (title, H1, internal linking, CTA)
  • Test and develop micro-UCP and SEO branches for landing pages;

  • Ready team: copywriters, designer, in-house developer;
  • SEO is already partially set up โ€” semantics, structure, part of the content is available;
  • Flexible schedule, result matters more than the process;
  • Technical team is always in touch โ€” updates to the site are made quickly;
  • Decisions are made fast โ€” minimum bureaucracy, maximum speed;

Recruitment stages:

  • Initial Interview โ€” approx. 15 min;
  • Feedback;
  • Optional: Interview with CEO or Marketing Manager โ€” up to 30 min;
  • Final Feedback;
