Redocly Ukraine LLC
We are actively looking for a seasoned operator to manage the operations of Redocly Ukraine LLC (“Redocly UA”). Redocly UA provides product development services to Redocly Inc. (“Redocly”), a related but legally separate company that is a leading provider of API management software and services. In this role, you’ll be responsible for helping to build and manage the operations of a world-class product development organization and scale the business with the growth in popularity of Redocly’s suite of products.

Redocly was founded in 2017 with the mission to get more consumers using APIs with less hands-on support. We were born out of ReDoc, the popular open source OpenAPI documentation software project used by millions of developers worldwide. We make API design and documentation software with the goal to improve the developer experience. We believe a more connected world is a better world. We do this by enabling more effective developer portals and API management tools. This enables our clients to design and build better APIs. Our suite of products makes our customers’ APIs more accessible and in turn more loved by their end users and consumers.
The users of Redocly’s products are software developers, technical documentation writers, product managers and occasionally technical leadership/management.
About the Opportunity
In this role you will:
- Serve as the primary day-to-day manager for all operations at Redocly UA, including but not limited to finance, accounting, legal, and possibly, human resources.
- You will also be the liaison between Redocly UA’s operations and Redocly Inc.’s management team. While you will officially report to Redocly Ukraine LLC’s directors, you will take daily direction from Redocly’s Chief Operating Officer.
- You will be directly responsible for managing Redocly UA’s legal and regulatory compliance, including all Diia City reporting obligations.
- Manage an external accounting team and be responsible for managing timely and accurate financials for Redocly Ukraine LLC. You will also be responsible for managing the preparation of Redocly Ukraine LLC’s tax filings and remitting all tax payments.
- You will be relied upon to develop accurate operating budgets for approval and to manage Redocly UA’s operations to those budgets. Cash management will be a critical responsibility as Redocly UA will need to invoice Redocly Inc. in a timely fashion to cover expenses.
- You will be responsible for managing staff payroll, making vendor payments and general expense management for Redocly Ukraine LLC. You will also manage relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts and manage the overall costs of the business. Operating efficiency will be a key metric for success.
Who you are
- 3+ years in a comparable management position;
- Accounting and/or FP&A experience is required with a general knowledge of Ukrainian accounting rules as well as GAAP accounting.
- Experience using QuickBooks is required.
- Internally motivated to achieve with an entrepreneurial mindset to “figure it out”. Someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. We will not hire a pure manager who won’t do what it takes to get something done.
- Experience mentoring and developing direct reports.
- Fluent in English;
- Able to work from the office in Lviv.
