Infrastructure/System Administrator Windows (offline)

IT Operations works to provide high-quality technical support and
maintenance of the critical production systems ensuring integrity,
stability and availability of the services and applications. In maintaining
and launching business critical applications, IT mitigates risk, improves
efficiencies and increases profits, while fostering a culture of respect,
trust and integrity.

- WINS, IIS, Popular services;
- ASP/ASP.NET/Coldfusion code troubleshooting;
- DFS, SMB, NFS storage;
- MS Exchange, O365;
- MSSQL, T-SQL;
- Failover Cluster, F5 Big-IP;
- Scripting: Powershell/vbscript/bat;
- SNMP configuration and systems health/uptime monitoring:
Nagios/SolarWinds;
- DevOps tools: Puppet/Cobbler, GIT/SVN, Jenkins/Dockers/Ansible;
- ITSM tools: Jira/SNOW;

Main Responsibilities:

Incident and Problem Management (50%)
 Investigation and response of the incidents generated by
monitoring team;
 Communication with vendor support and internal stakeholders;
 Identifying of monitoring improvement opportunities;
 Identifying patterns and repeated incidents and problematic
configuration instances;
 Logging incident related communication and resolutions in the
IT service management system;
 Manage and maintain domain-specific knowledge database;
 Provide automation solutions for routine repeated incidents;

Requests Fulfilment (25%)
 Establish and maintain regular written and in-person
communications with the organization’s relevant stakeholders
regarding pertinent IT activities;
 Support operations-related projects and project portfolio;
 Respond to inbound communications - including alerts, emails,
phone calls, and SN tickets, within reasonable timeframe.
 
Proactive maintenance (15%)
 Strictly follow established change management process;
 Apply necessary configuration changes and deploy patches upon
management approval;
 Remote support of the onsite hardware maintenance activities.

Risk and Compliance (10%)
 Contributes to development of/complies with policies &
procedures related to enterprise architecture;
 Works with other internal staff experts to maximize the standardization and efficiency of new policies & procedures;
 Ensure changes to the system and business solutions are
appropriately risk-rated;
 Increase knowledge of risk management practices and
techniques.

Mandatory Requirements: 5+ years’ experience deploying and managing systems and
infrastructure in an enterprise production environment;
 Ensure self and teamwork effectively and efficiently within
established guidelines;
 Strong organizational, time management, strategic thinking,
research/ analysis and attention to detail;
 Strong interpersonal relationship building and listening skills;
 Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
within a team environment;
 Excellent written/verbal communication and professionalism;
 Able to multi-task and flourish in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
work environment;
 Solid knowledge of the relevant technology stack;
 Strong knowledge of Security threats, security concepts and
best practices.
