Junior SOC Analyst, Tier 1/2 Offline

Trilight Security is looking for a junior Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst, to join our team. Starting the career of a SOC operator, you will play an important role in the operation of our SOC and ensuring the security and privacy of our customers’ data. You will act as the first line of defence against potentially malicious events in our customers' IT environments, escalating confirmed incidents to our professional service team and customers’ cybersecurity staff. You will participate in developing use cases, running log records, preparing incident reports, etc.

Requirements:

• Junior-level security analyst.
• Essential knowledge of information security principles, techniques, and technologies.
• Readiness to work during weekends and night shifts.
• Minimum 0,5 years of experience in a SOC environment.
• Experience within a 24/7 incident monitoring environment
• Experience with the SIEM solutions (ELK, MS Sentinel, etc.).
• Experience with the vulnerability assessment tools.
• Experience with the AV and XDR tools.
• Practical experience in Incident response.
• Intermediate English and good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good self-organisation and discipline.
• IT security certifications.
• Experience with the application control tools.

Responsibilities:

• Security monitoring, incident response.
• Perform various security-related tasks according to standard SOC procedures.
• Communicate regarding security issues with customers’ authorised contacts.
