We’re looking for a talented DevOps / System Administrator to keep our iGaming platform’s infrastructure, software, and workflows running smoothly and efficiently.
Required Skills and Experience:
We are seeking a security-conscious and highly skilled DevOps / System Administrator to manage and enhance our infrastructure for a fully remote workforce. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient access to our systems and tools for employees using MacOS, Linux, and Windows devices. Protecting our remote access points and employee devices is paramount.
Deep knowledge of:
- Secure Remote Access Architecture:
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, securing, and managing robust remote access solutions (including VPNs) for a distributed workforce across MacOS, Linux, and Windows platforms.
- Strong understanding and practical experience implementing Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles and solutions to enforce strict access controls and verification.
- Remote Work Environment Management:
- Demonstrated ability to architect, deploy, manage, and secure high-performance Remote Desktop Workplaces (e.g., VDI, RDS, or similar technologies).
- Experience setting up, maintaining, and securing efficient Remote Development Environments tailored for web application development, ensuring seamless access for developers on diverse OS platforms.
- Cyber Security Tooling & Endpoint Security:
- Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, managing, and monitoring essential cybersecurity tools (e.g., Next-Gen Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM solutions).
- Crucially, strong experience with Endpoint Security solutions (Antivirus, EDR) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) or similar strategies to secure employee-owned devices (BYOD) across MacOS, Linux, and Windows.
- Knowledge of vulnerability scanning, management, and patching processes in a remote environment.
General DevOps & System Administration Skills:
- Operating Systems: Solid experience administering, securing, and troubleshooting diverse operating systems: MacOS, Linux (Debian/Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS preferred), Windows in a professional environment.
- Networking: Strong foundation in TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, and network security concepts.
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) to automate system administration tasks, security checks, and deployments.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools like Terraform or Ansible is highly advantageous.
- CI/CD: Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment concepts and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Containerization: Experience with Docker; Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
- Monitoring & Logging: Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix) and centralized logging solutions (e.g., ELK stack).
- Identity & Access Management (IAM): Experience with IAM solutions (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, Okta, or other SSO providers).
- Troubleshooting: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to rapidly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems and diverse endpoints.
Experience Level:
- Ideally, 4+ years of relevant experience in System Administration and/or DevOps roles, with a significant focus on managing secure remote access and infrastructure for distributed teams.
