Game Designer (Middle/Senior) - Roblox / Fortnite Offline

Game Designer (Middle/Senior) β€” Roblox & Fortnite

We are an independent studio with 10 years of experience in outsourced development for large-scale multiplayer games. We’re currently focusing on growing two of our own projects on Roblox and Fortnite. We’re looking for a versatile game designer to lead the systematic improvement of both titles β€” enhancing retention, progression, economy, onboarding, and engagement for an audience aged 8–18.

What are you working on?

  • Project names: Roblox and Fortnite games
  • Project stage: Soft Launch
  • Genres: Kids Games, MMO, Casual, Role-playing, Simulation
  • Platforms: Mobile, Android, iOS, PC
  • Team size: 10–15

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing current game systems and identifying growth opportunities
  • Balancing game economy, progression, and rewards
  • Improving player onboarding and retention systems
  • Preparing clear game design documentation and tasks for the team
  • Tracking key metrics (D1/D7, LTV) and optimizing performance
  • Adapting game systems to the specifics of Roblox and Fortnite audiences

Who are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of experience in game design (F2P, mobile, or UGC platforms)
  • Strong knowledge of Roblox and Fortnite platforms and their player base
  • Solid experience in systems design and game economy balancing
  • Ability to write clear documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Basic analytical skills and understanding of key performance metrics
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently

What qualities matter most to us?

  • Self-starter β€” you don’t wait for instructions, you suggest solutions
  • Ownership β€” you see tasks through to the end, even if requirements are vague
  • Analytical thinking β€” you understand structure and causality, and can explain your reasoning
  • Initiative β€” you propose improvements, not just implement assignments
  • Communication β€” you convey ideas clearly and practically to developers
  • Flexibility β€” you’re quick to adapt and tailor your approach to different platforms
  • Player-first mindset β€” you think like a player aged 8–18, not just like a developer

Why we enjoy working here:

  • Creative freedom β€” we value your ideas and input, not rigid guidelines
  • Product influence β€” you’re not just an executor, you’re a co-creator
  • Transparent leadership β€” direct communication with the studio founder
  • Growth-driven environment β€” a team focused on learning and evolving

Conditions and bonuses:

  • Fully remote work
  • Flexible schedule (task-oriented)
  • Monthly compensation (discussed individually) + bonuses for retention improvements
  • Project-based start with a path to full-time

Hiring process:

  1. Intro interview with the founder β€” getting to know each other and discussing experience
  2. Paid test task β€” a small, real-case scenario
  3. Review session β€” discussion of your solution with the team
  4. Final call and offer β€” setting up terms and starting collaboration
